Atunci cand privim un anume obiect, percem deopotriva atat detaliile fine cat si detaliile de contur( grosiere).Desigur, atunci cand privim obiectul de aproape, detaliile fine domina campul perceptiv si respectiv cand privim obiectul de la distana , detaliile de contur vor domina in perceptia noastra asupra obiectului.
